Birley Primary Academy is a large site with only a small number of entrances. As a result of this, the start and end times for the school day are slightly staggered across the key stages. This is to allow parents, who are dropping-off and collecting their children from different entrances, the opportunity to do this so that all children can arrive to their lessons on time. 8:50am – 11:50am: Morning Group
9:00am – 3:00pm: 30 Hours Group
12:30pm – 3.30pm: Afternoon Group
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
8.35am – 3:05pm
32 hours and 30 minutes per week.
Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6
8.40am – 3.15pm
32 hours and 55 minutes per week.
