We aim to ignite children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning while helping them to build relationships with other children, preparing them for a move into Reception. Our nursery offers a safe, friendly environment where children can enjoy learning through educational activities and play.
Key features:
We currently have availability for funded nursery places of 15 and 30 hours for children aged 3 and 4 years.
Children attending our nursery benefit from joint activities with foundation year children which helps them when they are ready to move up to the next stage.
Children have the opportunity to explore different learning areas. Each day we enjoy listening to a story, taking part in group activities such as small phonics groups, Rhyme Time, Dough Disco, Squiggle while you Wiggle and other learning inputs.

Our curriculum is planned by a qualified teacher and adapted for the individual needs of our children. It is guided by the prime and specific areas of development. Each of these areas are reflected in our learning areas both inside and outside. Children have the opportunity to explore different learning areas independently or as part of a guided group with an adult.

Communication and language | Literacy |
Physical development | Mathematics |
Personal, social and emotional development | Expressive arts and design |
Understanding the world |
We approach the seven Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning objectives with the understanding that your child may have areas where they need to be challenged or, alternatively, require additional support. To help each of our children achieve their goals, we observe and assess the children. This enables our staff to highlight key experiences and success, and identify clear targets for each individual.
We use an online application called Tapestry to communicate with parents and carers so we can share our observations, learning and fun your child experiences while at nursery.
All parents of children aged 3-4 years can access 15 or 30 hours of free childcare per week.

We welcome applications for our nursery throughout the year. If you would like to apply or talk to us about your child attending nursery, please call us on 01142 399 002 or email [email protected]
