From September 2025 we will be offering funded places for 2-year old children.
Our curriculum specially designed for 2-year-olds follows the natural flow of the seasons- autumn, winter, spring, summer- creating a rich, sensory learning environment that changes throughout the year.
Each term is themed around the beauty and wonder of the current season. From planting seeds in spring to exploring frosty textures in winter, children will engage in hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
We follow the interests of our children, using their questions and ideas to guide our topics. Carefully chosen storybooks serve as springboards for discovery, helping children connect with themes in meaningful ways.
Each session is led by experienced early years teaching assistants who plan structured, play-based educational activities and teaching. This builds the foundations for children’s social and academic skills which continue as they progress through to nursery, early years and throughout their education.

From September 2025 we will be offering 30 hours funded places of 6 hours per day or you can choose a morning or afternoon session of 3 hours per day.

Please note that paid wrap around care is not part of your child’s funded hours and is not currently available for 2 year olds.
We have a dedicated classroom and outdoor play area for our 2-year old provision, which means they can freely explore and interact with other children of the same age in a safe, friendly environment. Through structured play, children can develop their communication and language skills while learning how to make friends, interact with others and have fun!
Types of activities and play will include:
Children attending our 2-year old provision benefit from joint activities with nursery children which helps them when they are ready to move up to the next stage. The nursery is located next to their classroom so they will already be familiar with the room and layout of where they will continue their learning.
We will provide healthy snacks including milk, water and fruit.
